Period: Paleo to Historic: 11,500 to 200 BP.
Distribution: Across America
Many were made by accident instead of on purpose. Many were made by resharpening, but some were manufactured on purpose. Extreme wear discovered on points used for drills, awls and perforators.
The points on exhibit in the Museum were discovered in Union Parishes in North Louisiana.
